Enable Multifactor Authentication for SSH on Linux

  1. Navigate to Systems in the Administrator console and open the details of the system
  2. Under Multifactor Authentication, select the Enable check box

    Note: If Public Key Authentication is selected, at the same time as MFA, Public Key will take precedence and users will not be prompted for a verification code.
  3. Users must obtain an application to generate TOTP tokens and validate their TOTP key 
  4. Test:
    $ ssh auser@
