Getting Started: Logging Into JumpCloud

There are two types of users in JumpCloud:
  • Administrators: This encompasses all Administrator Roles including Command Runners. Administrators have control over managing the directory. They cannot be bound to resources and do not count against billable users.  The Administrator email address must be unique in JumpCloud; i.e., a single email address cannot be reused across multiple organizations.
  • Users: Users (systemusers) are managed by JumpCloud Administrators and can be bound to JumpCloud managed resources. A user does count as a billable user. Like an admin, the email address must be unique in JumpCloud. Users are able to self service using the JumpCloud User Portal. 
Both types of users will login to JumpCloud at https://console.jumpcloud.com/login using the following workflows:
 

User Login

  1. Using a Supported Web Browser Type and Version, navigate to https://console.jumpcloud.com/login
  2. Click 'User login' at the top-left if not already selected


     
  3. Enter in your User email address and password, and click the 'Login' button


Administrator Login

  1. Using a Supported Web Browser Type and Version, navigate to https://console.jumpcloud.com/login
  2. Click 'Administrator login' at the top-right if not already selected


     
  3. Enter in your User email address and password, and click the 'Login' button


Password Reset
