JumpCloud takes over management of the sshd configuration file in its entirety, based on your original configuration at install time. Therefore, any changes you make to this file will be overwritten by JumpCloud each time a change is made to your user management configuration.
Changes to the sshd configuration can be made by editing the /etc/ssh/sshd_config.orig. When the agent checks for parity between the console settings and the local system's sshd configuration, it will take into account what exists in the sshd_config.orig file.
Not all changes to the .orig file may be honored. Any changes that conflict with the system settings may result in adverse behavior. Testing in a nonproduction environment is highly recommended.
