Add Restart=always to systemd installs

Steve Hoffman Jan 25, 2018 04:59AM MST

We are starting to see random failures of jumpcloud starting on newly launched services which are often fixed by a simple restart. I checked the systemd service file located at /lib/systemd/system/jcagent.service and noticed there is no Restart parameter in the service block.

Can we get Restart=always added as well as any related times you think are "good enough" around RestartSec, StartLimitIntervalSec and StartLimitBurst...

For Reference: https://www.freedesktop.org/software/systemd/man/systemd.service.html

Thanks,
Steve

Thanks for the feedback. Adding Restart=always is a relatively minor change we’ve pushed through and is currently in place for new installs. All existing installs will be sent an upgrade directive in the next few days.
